In 07, our ministry was at a crossroads when it came to ordering t’s. Most local screen printers slapped designs on shirts that made you yawn & still do. Other screen printers hit u with astronomical art fees & other fees. We thought, “Hey, why not just do it ourselves?” After that, the idea was, “Offer FLY POPPIN’ designs at competitive prices!” And the business was born. Now….for a name??
The name Hoppy Joe’s is a hybrid of ideas. Take Adam Sandler’s Lunch Lady song about “Slop…Slop…Sloppy Joe’s” and add our affinity for green tree frogs after catchin’ some for my wife who used to be an elementary school science teacher and then knowing that a lot of frogs chill in the mud…..the result………Hoppy Joe’s Mudgear Inc.
Our core customers are youth and campus groups. Our goal is to build this biz to support missionaries and share the faith of Jesus Christ all over the world.
